OUR HISTORY

Potomac Fences has been family-owned and operated since it was established as a company in 1975. Ken and Peggy Werts started Potomac Fences shortly after retiring from the United States Air Force. When their son Randy was 16, he began working for his dads company as an installer. After working his way through all areas of the company he took on ownership when his father retired. Randy’s daughter, Cayce, left a retail store manager position to come work full time with Randy in February 2010. After over a decade of training with Randy, Cayce took over for Randy as President. Her husband Mickey joined the company in 2017 coming from 10 years automotive management experience.

Lincon has been the respected stock and yard manager for 22 years and is the backbone of this company. His workmanship is phenomenal and we all consider Lincon to be both friend and family.

Leonel has worked here since 1998. Nelson since 2000. Dale has been a project planner here for 15 years. We value and appreciate our long term staff and their dedication to the company.
